AIYO NOT A TAMIL WORD IN THE TAMIL WORDS IN THE SINHALESE DICTIONARY BY SADAGOMI COPERAHEWA AND SARODINI DEVI ARUNACHALAM IN SINHALESE PUBLISHED BY GODAGE IN [2002]2011

According to news reports of 12 th October 2016 the Oxford  Dictionary has included Sinhalese and Tamil word Aiyo which has the same meaning.But alas! it is a matter for the etymologist to decide whether this word is Sihalese or Tamil
